These fixtures are an eye end terminal for attaching to wire rope with a mechanical assembly so they can be fitted to the wire without specialist tools. Manufactured in A4 stainless steel to ensure they remain corrosion free and remain a strong fixture.  These eye terminals are designed to work with wire rope and are available to suit wire rope diameters of 4mm, 5mm, 6mm and 8mm. 

The great advantage of these ‘DIY’ wire rope terminals is that they can be used in situations where the stainless steel wire rope needs to be passed through holes – eg guard rails, balustrades, trellis, plant training before the wire rope end terminal is fitted. 

A great feature of these fittings is that they are secured to the wire rope mechanically. In some cases, it is difficult to measure the exact length needed for your wire rope assembly until you are in the process of assembly.

With these stainless steel wire rope eye terminals they incorporate a tapered mechanical wedge grip mechanism, which is applied by use of spanners, and therefore does not need the use of specialist equipment.
