These metric studs or terminal connectors have a wood screw thread and made from A4 Stainless Steel. The studs are intended for screwing into wooden posts or hard-points to provide an anchorage for metric threaded fittings such as turnbuckles or eye nuts.

These studs have a ‘flat’ area so that they can be wound or tightened into the wood with the aid of a spanner. The wood post or hard-point should be pre-drilled before fitting these screw studs – for best results test the most suitable diameter for the pre-drilled hole depending on the type of wood, using a scrap piece of material.
