316 Stainless steel snap shackles with swivel end.  Snap shackles off a great combination of speed of operation and holding capacity, with the additional feature that they can be un-done when under load.  These stainless steel snap-shackles come in a choice of 3 sizes.  One end of the snap-shackle has a D-loop, which would generally be permanently fixed to a line or anchorage, and incorporates a swivel.  The other end of the snap-shackle can be closed by simply pushing the hinged arm against the retaining pin, which then closes with a satisfying ‘snap’ sound – hence the name.

Snap-shackles are used anywhere where the connection might need to be made or un-done regularly without fiddling with tools.
