Flat Shackle made from A4 stainless steel, sometimes known as strip shackles. These will not suffer from degradation or staining in salt-water. These stainless steel flat shackles are mainly a light-weight version of the more common short D-shackle for use in cases where light-weight is a high priority. Flat shackles or strip shackles find applications in various industries and settings. They are commonly used in rigging, lifting, towing, marine applications, construction, and general-purpose fastening tasks. These shackles are versatile and can be used in conjunction with ropes, chains, straps, and other connecting elements.

Our stainless steel flat shackles come in metric sizes M4, M5 and M6 for larger sizes of shackle with higher load capacities please refer to the other shackles in our range. When selecting shackles please be sure to check dimensions (pin diameter, width of opening etc) to ensure that the shackle will fit with your equipment. For tightening and loosening shackles you may wish to consider purchasing one of our shackle keys. However. these can be operated without the need for any tools and are also very strong.
