316 Stainless steel cable tensioner (turnbuckle) in a choice of metric sizes.  These turnbuckles are a little different from our standard turnbuckles in that they have machined ends, rather than welded ends, giving them a more elegant appearance.  The turnbuckle works by having a left-hand thread at one end and a right-hand thread at the other end, thereby when the central body is turned one way it will draw the ends together, and when turned in the opposite direction it moves the ends apart.  The stainless steel buckle is often used at the end of a length of stainless steel wire rope to give a way of tensioning the wire rope.  Typical uses would be for railing assemblies or for tensioning stays.
